The closer it gets to the release of Marvel Vs Capcom 3, the more and more rumors we’re gonna hear. The LATEST rumor comes from the two released trailers shown yesterday. Well, you see a new released stage. You’ll see some familiar red wearing ninja: The Hand

Many lead this to mean that the whole reason the stage is there is to be Elektra’s stage.
Elektra Natchios is an assassin and often Daredevil, and she’s in quite a few Marvel video games. Including being in Marvel Ultimate Alliance for some reason. She also was on one of the first leaked lists. Some people see the stage and say it’s hers. But really, who’s does this stage belong to in MY opinion?
Wolverine. The stage is obviously set in Japan. And there ARE lots of Hand ninja’s. In Mark Millar and John Rominita Jr’s Enemy of the State, our good buddy Logan was captured by the Hand, and brainwashed to become their ultimate killing machine. Wolverine has had long ties with Elektra and the Hand. Not only that, he’s very deeply rooted in Japan. One of his wives is from there, a rival
The Silver Samurai
Yes, the Silver Samurai. A veteran of Children of the Atom, and Marvel Vs Capcom 2. Kenuichio Harada, brother to Mariko, Wolverine’s fiance at one point, was freed off the prison The Raft by Electro, and then brought to his home in Japan by The Hand. The Hand wanted him to run their group. He refused, and is currently being used by Hydra.
So, the Hand is deeply tied into Wolverine, so that’s why this is his stage. Least, in my opinion.
Also, in those trailers, you can see Akuma in one of the stages background.

To me, the image does look like Akuma fighting Ryu. Honestly, it’s a neat little cameo. And it’s a good toss out to the fans. There are gonna be more of these in the stages, little in jokes for the Capcom fans.
